This Sunday is going to be one of the most meaningful days in my life. It’s neither my birthday, nor Valentine's Day. It’s the day for doing charity! I will help a foundation capture moments of hiking with my camera for people with disabilities.
The hiking event is held by the foundation which dedicates to taking care of people with intellectual disabilities, including Down syndrome, Autism and so forth. In order to create joyful memories for the families who have children with special needs, the foundation arranges an outdoor event in Maolin, a mountain located in the South of Taiwan.
Maolin is well-known for its purple butterfly season that starts from October to January. Everyone expects to dance with butterflies and be surrounded by trees. That day, I will be responsible for taking pictures and making records. I cannot wait to go on the journey and capture beautiful moments for those families!
